Description
Zinc (Zn): The reason for the deficiency of this element is usually due to the excess Phosphorus. The low level of useful zinc in the soil is related to the low soil temperature, the presence of free lime, low organic matter and high phosphorus level. The high level of useful phosphorus in the soil causes zinc deficiency in the plant at low temperatures in soils with medium zinc levels, but this deficiency is not seen in high temperatures.
Zinc deficiency also prevents the leaves from taking their normal sizes and causes them to change their shape. In zinc deficiency, the leaf system of the tree becomes sparse and the internodes are shortened. The productivity of trees exposed to zinc deficiency also decreases. Even though it contains fruit trees, zinc deficiency is most common in citrus fruits. Therefore, zinc deficiency is the most common in citrus regions around the world. Zinc deficiency is seen in other fruit types and also in legumes and cereal crops. For example, zinc deficiency in cereals causes young leaves to lose their normal green color and take on a reddish color, and old leaves to die. A grayish color of grain straw is also accepted as a typical result of zinc deficiency. Zinc deficiency generally has an important effect on root formation in plants and causes the root demand of the plant to be very weak. Its intake is also reduced at high pH.
Zinc Deficiency
Chlorosis is seen between the veins in the leaves. Rosette formation is observed at the shoot tips. The number of buds decreases and some buds remain without opening. The most susceptible species to zinc deficiency are citrus fruits, peaches, corn, soybean, potatoes and onions. Too much phosphorus fertilization causes zinc deficiency. In case of zinc toxicity, phosphorus and iron intake of the plant decreases as well as root development. Black Diamond Extra Zinc Thanks to the organic substance it contains, NPK nutrients stay in the soil for a longer time. Black Diamond Extra Zinc is a product that can be used in dry farming areas and products throughout the season. It is used for germination and product binding in plants with short flowering and crop period. Thanks to organic matter and humic-fulvic acid, it regulates the soil and increases the organic material value of the soil. It is effective on plant growth, offspring and product quality. It increases the ground cation exchange capacity (KDK).
